President
Brier is a seasoned insurance professional with twenty years experience as an insurance agency executive – and who comes from a family of experienced insurance executives. Brier’s areas of expertise include a variety of Property & Casualty Insurance products for both the commercial and personal sectors. He has grown his agency to include Life and Health products, has expanded to three locations throughout the Tampa Bay area, is licensed in twelve states, and has won numerous industry awards. A graduate of the University of South Florida, Brier was born and raised in South Tampa, where he first established his agency. As a leader in the business community, Brier is a member of many business and charitable organizations, including Brandon & South Tampa Chambers of Commerce, ICSC (Int’l Council of Shopping Centers), Westshore Alliance, FAIA (FL Assn of Insurance Agents), community bank Board of Directors, various state-wide Apartment Associations, and Palma Ceia Country Club. Brier is also an active member of his church and community sports leagues.
Star Tyrka
Vice President
Star joined the Brier Grieves Agency at inception in the early 90’s, where she was instrumental in creating the agency infrastructure and managing operations, as well as servicing and marketing the client insurance programs. As Executive Vice President, she has been integral in growing the agency to 30 employees, $30MM in premium and three locations, while continuing to mentor the team members, emphasizing service as the core mission of the agency. Star is a licensed insurance agent, specializing in commercial property & casualty. Although born in Manhasset, New York, her family moved to Long Island when she was young. She went on to attend college at Old Westbury State University of New York, majoring in Psychology. Her first employment out of college was to learn business operations at a firm that manufactured printed circuit boards used in the Apollo Space Missions. Star married in 1982 and relocated to Florida, where she continued in corporate operations while raising her two children.
Susan Repetto, ARM, CIC
Risk Management
With over 25 years of industry experience, Susan is an accomplished, results- oriented Enterprise Risk Management professional. She possesses a keen understanding of business priorities, with exceptional talent at analyzing strategic, operational, financial and hazard risk business challenges, then providing alternative risk solutions. Susan has experience in a wide variety of industries, including Healthcare, PEO’s, Technology, Private Equity, Contractors, Manufacturing, Transportation and Retail. This experience includes designing customized programs for clients in all areas, such as Management Liability, large Cash Flow programs, Layered Property programs, Captives and other Alternative Risk Financing programs. Susan leads our Risk Management Consulting discipline, where she provides Property & Casualty Insurance program analysis, Merger & Acquisition due diligence, and Contract analysis. She had significant roles at Aon, Accordia and Wachovia DavisBaldwin brokerage firms as the lead technical expert. Susan is a native of Tampa Bay and attended University of Florida, majoring in Physics & Mathematics. Current & past community organization memberships include, Association for Corporate Growth, MOSI’s Technology Committee, Nat’l Advisory Board, and CIRQLE of Friends; frequent public speaking engagements include PriceWaterhouseCooper’s annual Technology forum, Wachovia’s M&A seminar and Employment Practices seminar, CFO and CIO functions, and Technology Risk Mgmt continuing education instructor.

Laura Clarke, LUTCF
Operations Manager
Laura began her insurance career in Florence, KY in 1989 and within five years opened her own agency! Her degree in Communications from Miami University has served Laura well through the years, in areas such as management, customer service and property, casualty and life insurance sales. After selling her agency in Kentucky, Laura moved to Florida where she spent seven years as General Manager of a Bay Area Allstate Agency. She joined the Brier Grieves Agency in the spring of 2008 as Operations Manager. Laura believes that success in any industry comes from mastering communication with teammates, clients and vendors. Laura’s avocations include community service, where she serves on the Board of Directors for her neighborhood association and is a volunteer with mentally- and physically-disabled children.
Eddie Levin, CLU, MBA
Financial Planning
A native of New Orleans, Eddie received his Undergraduate and Graduate Degrees ( BS and MBA) from Louisiana State University. He has been an Independent Insurance Agent for 33 years, continuing his education by earning the CLU Designation (Chartered Life Underwriter), the ChFC Designation (Chartered Financial Counselor), as well as Membership in the Million Dollar Round Table (33 Year Lifetime Member). As a member of the Brier Grieves Agency, Eddie offers products and services from top quality carriers such as AIG, Prudential, Metropolitan, John Hancock,, Allianz, and AVIVA.
Eddie is an avid tennis player, fishing enthusiast, and Black Belt in the Martial Art of Shorinjikempo. He is married to an Independent Business Consultant and they have two grown children.
Teri L. Morrow, CEBS, RHU, REBC
Employee Benefit Plans
Teri has over 25 years of employee benefit consulting experience. Formerly, she was a Worldwide Partner with the world's largest employee benefits consulting firm for fifteen years. As an industry leader, Teri managed operations and business development on a local and regional basis, overseeing business planning, budgeting, staffing, and quality initiatives.
Teri provides companies of all sizes and complexities with consulting and brokerage services in the areas of managed health care, absence management, compensation and retirement. She specialized in cost control strategies, customized employee communications, and compliance.
She attended the University of South Florida, College of Business Administration. Teri holds her Registered Health Underwriter and Registered Employee Benefit Consultant designations from American College. She also holds her Certified Employee Benefit Specialist designation from Wharton, University of Pennsylvania.
Teri is a frequent guest speaker at local and regional business symposiums such as, Risk and Insurance Management Society, Society of Human Resource Management, Public Risk Management Association, Florida Public Personnel Association, Florida Hospital Association and many others. She also holds Board of Director officer positions for Easter Seals of Florida and the International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists.
