With Hurricane Season 2014 heading our way and the summer being full of outdoor events, worrying about what would happen if a storm were to hit could be nerve-racking. Events are very detailed and take weeks, months or even years of planning. By having event cancellation insurance you will reduce the amount of losses incurred. We currently offer event insurance at a low rate for all of our existing customers.

Some things that event cancellation insurance will protect you from are:

  • Lost deposits
  • Damage due to inclement weather
  • Nonrefundable deposits if the whole event is cancelled
  • Damage to attire, invitations, photos and other items related to the event
  • Vendor bankruptcy during the planning period
  • Rented equipment
  • Electronics/rides

You can add event insurance for all types of events. Trade shows, weddings, parties, festivals and more. It is always important to do this but even more so during hurricane season for outdoor events. This hurricane season has been predicted to be low activity but that does not mean your event is 100% safe from a storm coming.
